Senior .NET Developer - Contract Dublin

Key responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASP.NET/C# developer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack.
As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining external facing web applications and frameworks. This person will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers and business resources to build and maintain highly-performing enterprise systems.

Knowledge/experience:
Six(+) years experience as a developer (lead developer experience would be a plus).
Three(+) years experience with ASP.NET/C#.
Two(+) years working with SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred).
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.
Deep knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008, VB.NET, ASP.NET,
ASMX and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET.
Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
Experience with JQuery or similar technologies.

Skills:
Experience with development of client-facing UI modules in large scale software applications is required.
Enterprise level exposure is required - large distributed development and test teams, shared code base with multiple parallel developments.
Experience with continuous integration and iterative development methodology is required.
Experience in unit testing Front End functionality and analysing unit tests for code coverage, copy & paste etc.
Team lead ability with strong communications skills. Ability to understand business drivers and balance business needs, timelines, costs and best practices.
Experience in the UI usability domain is a plus.
Good Analytical skills.
Experience with Banking and Cash management applications and process would be advantageous.
