Senior .NET Developer-Banking & Finance

This global Giant in the Banking and Finance sector and is looking for a Senior .NET Developer in their Dublin office. The Senior .NET Developer will be part of an exciting and growing team with a strong possibility for long term contract extensions. The organisation have state of the art facilities in the heart of Dublin's busy financial district and employs over 2000 permanent and contract staff.

6 month Contract role

Opportunity to influence exciting IT Finance projects

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop and support high performing UI code on the Microsoft .NET platform.

Help facilitate software quality measures - TDD, Peer Review and Pair Programming

Be responsible for the creating very high quality code that you would be proud of.

Deal with other players in the software development life cycle - PMs, BAs and testing.

Work with the Application and Domain architects in design.

Key Skills

Minimum 6 years.NET Front End UI development experience

Commercial experience with ASP.NET and JavaScript on Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 - C#.

ASP.NET MVC is highly desirable

Good knowledge and commercial experience of JavaScript, JQuery and HTML5

Good architectural thinking with regards to creating code that is performant, re-usable and compatible on multiple browsers.

Exposure to Framework based code architecture.

Experience in developing for a Service Oriented Architecture is a plus.
