We are currently working closely with our client; who is an Australian icon. They have engaged with ACUITY SEARCH to help them find them an experienced SOFTWARE DEVELOPER who can mix and match boxes and integrate them into a solution while working with third party/vendors at a technical level. This role will be ideal for someone who enjoys liaising with people on a regular basis.

This contract is based in MELBOURNE CBD

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

- Minimum of 6 years commercial experience as a Software Developer
- Extensive experience in developing applications and providing support services to high quality integrated business systems.
- Experience with Enterprise Web application development frameworks and technology suites (eg JavaEE/.NET) including Web markup (eg HTML/XML) and Scripting languages (eg JavaScript/VBSCRIPT)
- Exposure to Scientia/CYON and IFM products (specifically Syllabus Plus and Archibus) would be an Desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; proven ability to write quality technical documentation; and liaise with third party vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage complex tasks using project management best practice;
- Able to start in APRIL/MAY 2014
- Must have proven Australia based experience as well as working rights within Australia (MY CLIENT DOES NOT SPONSOR!)
