Senior .NET Developer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Expert Software Developer is responsible for providing expert technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and support of custom software applications of the most critical and complex nature. This may include expert problem resolution, systems integration, and mentoring of other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING SOFTWARE IN A .NET ENVIRONMENT
- At least 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING WEB SERVICES IN .NET (WCF/OData/ASP.NET Web API).
- At least 2 YEARS DEMONSTRATED SUCCESS CODING AND IMPLEMENTING SYSTEMS USING THE C# PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE.
- At least 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING DATABASE DRIVEN APPLICATIONS WITH SQL SERVER
- Experience implementing Windows Client applications using Windows Forms or WPF with MVC, MVVM, or MVP patterns
- Exposure to XAML based UI stacks a plus (ie, WPF/WinRT)
- Advanced knowledge of the Windows Operating System and IIS
- ALM experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server preferred
- Experience with Entity Framework a plus
- Strong knowledge of the HTTP protocol a plus
- Experience with PowerShell is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to successfully perform the software developer role across multiple, technically complex system implementations with custom and third-party applications
- Advanced experience across the software development life cycle, from analysis to support.
- Experience with software life cycle management in an agile methodology (Kanban, SCRUM, FDD, XP, DSDM, etc.) preferred
- Demonstrated advanced experience reading and translating data, process, and business models into technical designs
- Demonstrated advanced understanding of relational databases (SQL Server)
