Senior .NET Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER for our client in Norristown, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for technical deliverables associated with application code development, including requirements documentation, functional design documents and specifications, work estimates, detailed and technical design documentation, application code and associated documentation, including documentation to fulfil audit requirements.
- Determine and document technical requirements for application systems, including system, module and unit design, unit test plans and test cases.
- Support all phases of the software development life cycle, including Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design, Testing, Implementation, and Production support for software systems.
- Develop, debug and test computer applications based on user requirements documentation, and on input from subject matter experts.
- Participates in code reviews.
- Participate as a member of a cross-functional Scrum team.
- Working with software vendors to implement effective integration for the application to the software products delivered by those vendors.
- Working with other development teams to implement effective integration for other applications with the application.
- Implementing and refining the enterprise level patterns and objects that comprise the custom .NET framework, which is at the core of the application.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of team development practices, such as continuous integration and code reviews.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Five (5+) years of experience in .NET development.
- Experience with .NET, C#, WPF, WCF, and XAML.
- Experience defining architecture for production .NET applications.
- Understanding of architectural concepts and design patterns.
- Understanding of development performance issues and mitigation approaches.
- Understanding of concurrency programming, threading issues and mitigation approaches.
- Understanding of Oracle RDBMS and SQL.
- Understanding of Spring .NET - IoC, AOP, and Dependency Injection.
- Understanding of Persistence Frameworks including NHibernate and iBatis.NET.
- Experience implementing or familiarity with multi-threaded .NET application.
- Experience implementing or familiarity with Oracle AQ Events.
- Experience implementing or familiarity with MVP patterns, especially MVVM.
- Experience implementing or familiarity with a Pub/Sub messaging pattern, especially Mass Transit.
- Experience implementing or familiarity with DTOs.
- Experience using nUnit or other unit testing framework.
- Familiarity with Subversion, and continuous integration tools including TeamCity.
- Familiarity with SOA, service-oriented concepts and web services (SOAP-based and RESTful).
- Experience participating in teams using the Agile SCRUM process.
- Committed to test driven or behavior driven development.
- Experience with energy industry preferred.
