SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER
Our client, a global IT company based in Dublin West/Kildare region is currently looking for a Senior .NET Developer for a contract position
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Performs analysis of complex functional and business requirements.
- Prepares code stubs for others. Completes code to implement solutions.
- Designs solutions for others to code. Participates in cross-functional teams.
- Leads design activities, provides mentoring and guidance to other developers.
- Designs, prepares and executes Unit tests. Represents team to client/customers.
- Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas (eg Database Administration).
- Independently implements end-user or enterprise infrastructure or services of significant complexity.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- 4 or more years of experience writing code (preference is like ASP.NET 4.0, C# 4.0, Microsoft Entity Frameworks 4.0, ASP.NET MVC, XML, SQL server, and Oracle Database).
- Must possess application development knowledge on multiple Windows operating systems
- Expertise in programming languages and technologies such as .NET, like ASP.NET 4.0, C# 4.0, Microsoft Entity Frameworks 4.0, ASP.NET MVC is critical.
- Experience of working on multiple full release cycles.
- Understanding of modern software development methodologies (Object).
- Understanding of modern software development tools and Software Configuration Management (SCM).
- Understanding of Software Test methodologies and testing tools. Strong understanding of Basic Database Administration.
- General Project Management (developing).
- Business Analysis. Web Technologies
