Senior .NET/C# Application Developer with DB Skills

SENIOR .NET/C# APPLICATION DEVELOPER

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a SENIOR .NET/C# APPLICATION DEVELOPER. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start at the 1st of March 2014. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Design and implementation of the Middle Layer in a new 3-Tier platform (goal is to decouple User Interface, Business Logic and Object Model)
- Contribution to the refactoring of the Database Object Model
- Creation of a Reporting framework
- New initiatives (Workflow, Document Management, APIs)

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- 5+ years experience in:
- Object Oriented Software Design
- .NET/C# 4.0/ADO.NET
- Persistence Layer (such as NHibernate, Entity Framework,)
- DB design, SQL, preferably for SQL Server
- Good knowledge of:
- Inversion of Control (such as Castle, Spring,)
- UI/Patterns (such as ASP.NET MVC, WPF MVVM,)
- Experience with VBA Script
