SEN Teacher - Post 16

SEN teacher required for October start at a special school based close to Harlow. This unique provision provides education for 11-25 year olds with moderate to severe learning difficulties. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to work in the post 16 provision with 19-25 year old adults.

The ideal SEN teacher will have the ability to build and develop relationships with young people and adults with severe learning difficulties. Previous experience teaching functional skills is advantageous to the role and a good career history working with learning difficulties and strong understanding of Special Educational Needs is essential.

The school offers an innovative curriculum, focusing on personal progress and employability skills at post 16 level. Due to growth of the provision, we are now looking to get an additional SEN Teacher on board to start as soon as possible.

You should be a dynamic and creative SEN Teacher who is also able to enjoy and have fun with their teaching.The successful applicant will benefit from a warm and welcoming atmosphere as well as a supportive staff team.
