Semiconductor Technician Job

SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Santa Clara, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- CMP Engineering or wafer technician background.
- Wafer testing

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Perform wafer polishing process tests using large research grade polishing tool.
- Perform tests to measure wafer oxide and metal thickness and step heights of the patterned wafers.
- Perform tests to measure surface topography and geometry using optical profiler.
- Perform tests using Large Particle Count tool Analyze data using tool unique tool software, statistical packages software, and MS Office software (Excel, MS Office).
- Prepare test reports. Understand technical direction from engineers.
- Manage tools in the lab: perform timely calibrations, interact with tool vendors.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- You should possess a background in one or more of the following: process engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, optics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- This is a hands-on position and the selected person is expected to work hands-on in all sample prep areas at least 80% of the time.
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of - Vacuum science, charged particle beam optics, Laser/FIB nano-machining, plasma physics and equipment engineering are desirable.
- Self-motivated, and the ability to produce quality results in a timely manner, and require minimal supervision
