Our client is focusing its investment in search marketing. We are looking for a Senior SEM Specialist. Although systems and technology are important, there's no substitute for making sure we have the best people to ensure paid search is designed and executed at scale both efficiently and effectively to achieve broader business goals. As an important part of this search marketing team, you will work to ensure a detailed focus on targeting and maximizing global demand into key destinations from all of the feeder origins and ensure close integration between the paid search team and the wider marketing, product development, and supplier partnership efforts across brands. This is an exciting time to be part of the Search Marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Executes campaign management tactics.
- Contributes to the development of SEM strategy and process.
- Executes and owns discrete paid search campaigns across multiple engines and multiple geographies to ensure the company's specific goals are met.
- Responsible for day-to-day management of paid search campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy writing and testing, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management etc.
- Executes and contributes to channel/team level projects/initiatives requiring significant project management or coordination with other team members.
- Manages and maintains relationships with internal customers/partners to communicate campaign performance/progress to goals.
- Assists in the development and refinement of paid search strategy and best practices.
- Gathers actionable data from various sources to ensure consistent and continual optimization of the campaigns.
- Generates and disseminates management reporting to ensure that the wider team is aware of campaign performance trends.
- Consumes data from tracking providers (eg Omniture) and search agencies and works to ensure that the tracking data is used effectively to the benefit of the campaign.
- Manages relationships with search engines and agencies to further optimize search marketing campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- College degree required
- 2 years managing SEM campaigns
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data
- Ideally have experience within a marketing/business focus
- Good computer skills, specifically Excel
- Ability to grasp new software packages
- Excellent written skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and juggle numerous projects
