Selenium Software Tester, York, £40000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for and experienced Automated Tester to join a Software company's innovative Technical Team based inYork.. My client are market leaders and are enjoying a lot of market growth - as a result they need to expand their Testing Team.

You will play a key role in testing a variety of cutting edge web-based .NET applications, you will right both automated (using Selenium) and ideally writing manual testing scripts within a very Agile environment. You must have experience and a strong knowledge of the full Testing / QA project life-cycle as well as be a strong communicator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Software Tester who has a strong background in Automated Testing, you need:

Selenium experience

Knowledge of W3C and Accessibility standards.

A background in testing web-based applications.

ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate (or equivalent).

Familiarity with web-based techs such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
