Segment Producer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SEGMENT PRODUCER with one of our leading digital media companies in New York, NY.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Segment producer will be dedicated the digital programs
- Develop and produce live/live-to-tape guest segments
- Find, research and develop story ideas, guests and concepts for the program independently and with guidance from Senior Producer
- Research guest notes, conduct pre-interviews and write compelling questions and news copy for Anchor
- Secure video, create graphics and stock charts to support segments
- Partner with other business units (such as graphics, development, marketing) to initiate and support guest booking requests
- Assist in production/editing of show before and after tapings as needed
- Write, edit and publish compelling text stories to accompany web video
- Work with senior producer to pitch live links and headline suggestions to web editors

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience booking and producing in a live broadcast environment
- Experience in writing web articles and blogs; strong familiarity with content management systems
- Strong communication, research, news gathering and writing skills
- Highly organized and able to work under deadline pressure
- Strong teamwork mentality, working effectively with unit members
- Interest in/familiarity with top business stories and trends
- Ability to dissect analyst research reports, analytical visit our website to learn both about our company and about our leading professional staffing solutions.
