Security Specialist

As a hands on security expert, work between different teams to deliver exceptional Cyber Security Systems Assurance.

Be available from time to time to provide out of hour's coverage.

Take a technical lead in maintaining and managing the ICT Security appliances with the assistance of APS team members.

Cover:- - Web gateways
- Email gateways,
- Port/device control
- Risk management
- Password management

You will also need to begin and progress the implementation of SIEM tool such as NetIQ.

You will be invited to provide ICT Security advice and representation regularly within this federal government agency.

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- - Manage web and email security using McAfee and Mail Marshall
- Manage other security appliances that perform port/device control, Risk management and Password Management
- Experience working in IT Security for Federal Government
- Familiarity of ISM and its application
- Experience managing and working within a small team
- Experience implementing and managing SIEM tools such as NetIQ
