Our Client's IT Security Roadmap Project's Malware (SRM) work package specifically defines one product: an Intrusion, Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) service that shall be delivered to realize the benefits documented in the business case of the SRM Project. It is aimed to shorten the gap between malware infection and malware detection. Additionally the implementation of this service with the intent to detect and block unauthorized interference in corporate networks will also be beneficial for other threats not in scope of this work package.

Development of the Service Operation Concept

Implementation planning

Preparation of the tender to purchase the designed service, including the established agreed acceptance criteria for the POC and the final service acceptance. The tender shall consist of four parts that shall be procured from one supplier.

These parts are:

- Purchasing the necessary hard and software to deliver the IDPS service
- Installation, integration and maintenance of the purchased hard and software.
- Technical functional and operational management of IDPS infrastructure
- A correlation and analysis service of the data from the IDPS systems and other security relevant data
