Security Project/Program Manager

My client is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands. We are looking for a Security Project/Program Manager, to start ASAP for a 3-6 Month rolling contract.

Job role: Achieve near Real Time security, by deploying a set of processes and tools that integrate and correlate security incidents (SIEM) for a fast reaction loop managed through maintaining the state of situational awareness by a Global Security Operational Center (SOC).

Projects:

Contract vendor for SIEM solution. Basically consists of monitoring implementation plan and manage 3rd party vendor to keep to deadlines

Connecting log sources from key Data Center Operators. Waveplanning has been defined to connect log sources, now consists of manage suppliers to timely deliver sources. In contracts it is not always stated that DCO vendors need to supply log sources, so it is important to manage and negotiate with vendors to deliver sources with limited costs.

Ensure a SOC in NL and US is build, including processes, staffing and physical location

Interim operational capability; to immediately increase cyber security situational awareness (CyberSSA). Connecting DNS, DHCP, VPN and AD log files in an interim solution running locally at HTC5. To be moved to Siem tool when 3rd party vendor is ready to deliver.

To change current reactive monitoring capability into pro-active solution, which enables our customer to pro-actively monitor for known and pre-defined threats? Deployment of 100 hosts in network that can act as sensors using honeypot software.

You must be able to work with large teams, using initiative and teamwork to get the job done. You will need to be results driven, thriving from CIO Pressure and results-driven. Required to obtain quick oversight and ensure that milestones/deadlines are met. Strong operational management skills, controlling suppliers and internal teams, specifically roll-out of SIEM tooling and connecting log sources from DCO vendors. Experience with implementation of SOC is a preferred but not essential.
