Security officer/solutions consultant/AIC/ISO17799/risk assessment/application security/windows/linux/information security/

We are currently looking for a Security officer with a development background to perform an application security assessment across various global applications running on Windows and Linux platforms. You will be tasked with the implementation of global security standards and practices based upon your findings.

Responsibilities:
*Assist in the Availability, Integrity and Confidentiality (AIC)-classifying and assessing before they are handed over to the production environment
*Assist in making sure systems are re-assessed on an agreed frequency
*Perform assessments during the development phase of systems to verify that security rules have been followed
*Report progress on (re)assessments to management
*Advice on state of the art security techniques
*Define and perform a security awareness programme to increase awareness at all staff
*Enforce implementation of global security programmes
*Advice on external regulations
*Maintain security rules for development and support of systems
*Sign off of Project plans with regard to security aspects
*Report on security violations to relevant line- and project management and the Global Security Manager

Required Experience & skills
*3-5 years experience in an Information Security/IT Security position function, ability to act as a security solutions consultant
*Good understanding of software development techniques and processes across Windows and Linux platforms
*Preferred proven experience within the financial industry, including legislative and regulatory knowledge.
*Preferred international experience
*In-depth knowledge of ISO17799 concepts with previous implementation experience
