Security Manager (2 Year Fixed Term)

Job Responsibilities
* Ensure Enterprise Security Management system policies, procedures and documentation is maintained appropriately.
* Complete security audits to maintain and improve security controls across the organization.
* Installation, configuration, management and monitoring of the CheckPoint, Cisco ASA/PIX and WatchGuard Firewalls.
* Installation, configuration, management and monitoring of IPS/IDS.
* Deployment and development of the Security Products, supporting sales staff and customers.
.Have familiarity with vulnerability and configuration assessment tool (eg Nessus)
- AntiVirus/AntiSpyware, AntiSpam, AntiPhishing solutions
- URL/Web Filtering solutions
- Virtual Private Networks and Security Protocols
- Authentication Protocols and Systems
- Ciphering technologies
- Security Monitoring & Vulnerability Assessment Activities
- Penetration Testing
- Risk Assessment & IT Auditing Activities

* Contribute to the preparation of Security Plans
* Perform risk assessment sessions
* Prepare and assess the security baseline for the Operating Systems and COTS deployed within the EO PDGS
* Generate and review technical reports and service documentation (see also section 2.3 - Deliverables)
* Possibly support other security projects (eg, assessment and rationalisation of the EO Network Firewalls policy), as well as security operations (eg, troubleshooting, security incidents handling) in the EO PDGS domain.
* Perform occasional "out of hours" maintenance on security products.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records of customer systems and trouble tickets.
* Other duties as required by Line Manager.
* Owns incidents, resolves them swiftly and drives through to final fix, working with customers and other internal teams as appropriate.
* Escalation to vendor support and other internal teams to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of issues.
* Provides concise and relevant action plans for teams to resolve network and customer issues efficiently.
* Troubleshooting and network management.
* Communication and documentation and security-specific support information to management boards.
* Ensure Security processes and procedures are followed and deliver best-in-class technical support while maintaining a stable and resilient network.
* On call duties

Experience Required

Specific Qualifications
* University degree in Engineering discipline
* Excellent English written and presentation skills* Excellent knowledge of network technologies, TCP/IP, NAT, IPSEC.
* Strong skills in ISS Site Protector,Cisco and CheckPoint installations, configurations and operations.
* IDS/IPS products, sound installation understanding and alert management.
* Cisco Router IPSEC configuration and troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of Web and mail filtering technologies
* Foundational knowledge of Network Security including security threats, Crypto and SSL technologies
* CCSE NGX, CCSP, CCNA, CISSP, certifications or equivalent experience.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Good understanding of a broad range of technologies revolving around ICT areas
* Minimum 5 years experience working with Security products and security or audit experience in international telecoms or IT environment.
