Security Enginer

TEMPLETON AND PARTNERS are looking for a Security Engineer for our international client in Amsterdam.

THE TASK:

- Responsible for Security, delivering high quality services and creative solutions across Network, Systems, Applications, Voice, Mobile and Wifi platforms
- Responsible for monitoring and driving Network Security Compliance during project life cycle
- Creating clear security standards, implementing security solutions and initiatives addressing new vulnerabilities
- Delivering the technical aspects through plan > design > build for project & compliance security testing
- Responsible for development of solutions to secure IT and Core architecture
- Engages across multiple functions, both business and technical, to ensure services consistently match needs and expectations
- Ensures accurate delivery progress reporting is completed and communicated to relevant stakeholders

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 5 years previous network security experience gained within a large commercial environment.
- Deep understanding and experience of relevant Security technologies and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations.
- Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided.
- Experience of analysing, assessing and resolving complex technology requirements, problems and issues.
- Strong experience in designing, integrating and deploying security solutions in a dynamic, high pressure working environment.
- Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice.
- Must have in-depth understanding of IT infrastructure at a network, server, operating system, endpoint and application level.
- Experience and knowledge of web application and web services security best practices, design review and security testing.
- Have an in-depth understanding and experience of virtualised data centre environments, public cloud services and XaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of the business relevance of information risks and the current trends and developments in information security.
- Proven track record of delivering critical information in a clear and precise manner to senior management teams and stakeholders.
