MUST HAVE SKILLS:

5 years experience in Python Application Development. Experience working on web based applications on the Django framework. Exceptional oral and written communication skills along with ability to work together as a team. Experience with secure development methodologies will be a strong plus.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We're looking for an exceptional engineer who will help to develop the next generation of security tools within our clients enterprise. You will be working with a team that is responsible for protecting one of the largest payment networks in the world. As a Security Engineering Services Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing and deploying applications, services and frameworks that will contribute to the corporations security posture.

The SES engineer will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of projects that will include building open source software security analysis tools, fuzzing frameworks, infrastructure assessment tools, exploit development etc. The candidate will also provide support to other groups endeavoring to undertake similar tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant and secure systems
- Own security engineering services projects from design to deployment
- Be responsible for full stack development
- Generate metrics to show QA coverage, burndown rates, bug resolution etc.
- Provide guidance and support to other groups attempting similar projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related degree
- Understanding of security principles and knowledge of vulnerabilities including OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25
- 5+ years experience designing and developing complex applications
- Django experience and skills required
- Experience of n tier application development, preferably using Python, Java and Ruby on Rails
- Understanding public exploits and awareness of new unpublished exploits
- Experience of application integration
- Understanding of security tools such as Fortify, AppScan, burp suite, metasploit etc. and concepts such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, fuzz testing etc.
- Advanced Skills in in Object Oriented Design and design patterns
- Experience in creating automated build and test environments using Maven, JUnit, etc.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills along with ability to work together as a team
- Experience with Tomcat Server, MySQL, SQL Server and other platform configurations
- Experience with Git, Stash and JIRA
- Experience with secure development methodologies
- Experience with Agile methodologies/SCRUM
