Security Engineer (Microsoft Windows)

Projektbeschreibung
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Security Engineer with an extensive Microsoft Windows knowledge to join their team in Zürich on a long term contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct application discovery and fact finding through meetings with both technical & business stakeholders
- Creation of solution designs leveraging specific EEC technologies and components employed within the bank
- Perform technical validation of solution design and technical implementation through Engineering build & smoke testing
- Provides technical assistance to test teams with the preparation of test plans
- Preparation of technical work instructions for production installation performed by support teams
- Level 3 Support (Escalation point for Level 2 Support Organization in case of incidents)
- Act as a partner for Business Analysts regarding requirements specification
- Preparation of solution design documentation, diagrams and technical artifacts
- Maintain documentation relevant to operations (operational manual, installation guide, etc.).
- Provides technical recommendation & guidance to business and technical stakeholders whilst being compliant with UBS standards and operational guidelines
- Provides technical recommendation & guidance to IT Security Project Managers
- Attend project meetings & calls
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Microsoft Windows Server Platform and Security Engineer is required to support the Data Protection EEC and Secure External Collaboration Projects:
- Data Protection/Endpoint Encryption/Pre-boot Authentication
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- MCSE Server Infrastructure (or similar) and/or MCSE Desktop Infrastructure
- Experience in Security Solutions
- Working experience in complex environments and large companies
- English
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Experience of working within an IT Security organisation, a deep understanding of security principles, attack vectors and risk mitigation
- Authentication & Encryption protocols/services (x.509,2FA,AES,SSL)
- Good working knowledge of common web services HTTP/HTTPS and network protocols and standards such as DNS
- Experience of web programming/Scripting languages (Java, PowerShell, Perl, batch)
- Highly motivated, confident and capable of both working independently and within a geographically distributed team
