Security Engineer Desktop Security

For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a

DESKTOP SECURITY ENGINEER/ARCHITECT

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Zurich

You will join highly skilled desktop security engineering team responsible for design and produce secure, stable, and with good user experience build for desktop, laptop, VM and tablet based on Microsoft and Intel Security landscape.

THE ROLE INCLUDES

- Actvivities related with cooperation with stakeholdes (Product Managers, Solution and Security Architects), design, documentation preparation and testing.
- Take security requirements from security requirements from security documents and best practices to design the Endpoint Security solution
- Be responsible for product evaluation and solution design
- Proven experience in scope of similar products and solutions.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

- You should have qualification described below, proven experience in scope of similar products and solutions
- Understanding of the security requirements of a Desktop build within a financial Institution
- Ability to interpret security standards and ensure adherence to them
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Very self-motivated
- Able to work with minimal guidance and have the ability to own problems through to resolution
- Ability to collaborate across a diverse global team
- 5 years+ experience in relevant disciplines
- Very good technical architecture and design skills - working experience as an architect
- Very good understanding of the various vendor products for desktop security
- Good presentation skills ( written and spoken English)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Security Products and Features (Bitlocker, Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Intel Security Products and Features (McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, Drive Encryption, Host Intrustion Prevention, VirusScan for Enterprise, McAfee Endpoint Security 10.1, etc.)
- Thorough knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10)
- Strong experience of debugging applications on a Windows platform
- Knowledge of Active Directory, especially Group Policies
