Security Engineer - Attractive Opportunity with nice Package

For my client based in Den Bosch, we are urgently looking for a Security Engineer with broad IT infrastructure knowledge.

You will participate in ICT improvement initiatives, bringing to the role your abilities as a solution provider; co-ordinating service delivery and managing strategic infrastructure change projects. You will work closely with other specialists and business stakeholders to define, plan and execute these initiatives, in support of their strategy to reduce complexity and promote standardization of ICT services across the Group.

Due to the operational responsibilities and cross-border nature of the role, you will be required occasionally to work outside of normal business hours, and you will have the ability and willingness to work and travel internationally.

Requirements:

- Over 4 years field experience, complex fault finding, complex system design.
- Experience and working knowledge of ITIL-based service and processes
- Experience at troubleshooting various connectivity issues such as remote access VPN`s, Firewall access and Internet connectivity.
- Experience in Networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
- Experience in configuring, troubleshooting and supporting in a Citrix or VMware environment.
- Experience in configuring Routers and hardware Firewalls.
- Experience of liaising with 3rd party software vendors.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Strong Financial background is a big asset
- I-Factor and HFS Administration and Advanced Support
- Help/Systems Robot Automation Suite Products Administration and Configuration

This is for a permanent role for one of the biggest Financial players in the Netherlands
