Security Engineer - Amsterdam

For my client in Amsterdam I am looking for an experienced security engineer. Requirements are

5+ years security engineering experience
-

Experience with Itil (Change, Incident and Problem Management) Processes
-

Budget management & project management skills
-

TCP/IP network services, BGP, MPLS, VOIP
-

Packet capture analysis
-

Networking Hardware including: Cisco 2960, 3750, and 4900 series switches, Motorola 7500 series
-

Network toolsets including or similar to: Orion Riverbed NCM (Cisco Works), Infoblox
-

Network Security experience including: Checkpoint R77 Fortinet ASA VPN technologies
-

Familiar with: Firewall virtualization techniques, IDS, IPS, MSHA Datacenter design and implementation
-

Network/Security design, root cause analysis and industry best practices
-

Application analysis, as it pertains to performance with network electronics
-

Execution and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects on time and on budget.
-

Experienced in managing service providers and other vendors

The ideal candidate has experience in an international company and is fluent in English, written and verbal. Furthermore you have experience in working in/leading project teams. In addition, you have exceptional customer support skills and you are able to work with the team through firefighting drills. You have thorough technical writing and documentation skills. The ideal candidate has previously worked in network environments with SAP. Start: ASAP Duration: 3 months initially Location: Amsterdam, 20 hours per week
