Proteus Europe is searching for a Security Development Engineer for a 3 Month+ contract role based in Brussels, Belgium.
Our Client:- Our client is, as the first universal direct bank, a strong player on the Belgian market. The bank provides its customers with a wide range of financial products and services via the distribution channel of their choice (click and face). Our clients customers are based in retail as well as private banking clients, as well as small, medium and large enterprises.
Your New role:-
As a Dev Engineer Security, you will assist the Secure Cloud Web squad in migrating and maintaining infrastructure and applications from an IBM environment to an open-source NGINX environment. Your NGINX expertise will be key to the success of your squad.
Your Skills and Qualifications:-
Essential Skills:- - A Master or Bachelor degree in IT, with at least 3 years of experience in Web environments as an IT engineer.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server systems and Linux/Unix
- Good knowledge of NGINX
- Knowledge of Tivoli Access Manager/IBM Security Access Manager (TAM or ISAM)
- Understanding of other web infrastructure devices, like load-balancers, reverse proxies, authentication proxies, ...
- Infrastructure design and engineering skills.
- Fluency in English ( French or Dutch is a plus).
Desirable Skills:- - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) towards all levels.
- Creative, analytical and forward thinking with advice capabilities.
- Deadlines and planning respect.
- Dynamic and well organized.
- Team player, stress resistant and persuasive
