Security Content Developer - Brussels (Central)

As a Level 3 Security Use Case Development specialist you will also be responsible for the design, development and deployment of the local and remote Use Cases. This will include the technical analysis and the design approvals.

You will be contributing towards providing enhanced visibility to the security posture of the Group's IT infrastructure.

Additionally, the Level 3 developer will serve as a collaborator to support in-depth analysis of security alerts and their effectiveness in threat detection.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

Use Case Design;
Use Case Technical Analysis;
Design and customer buy in on proposed builds;
Use Case Testing in QA;
Use Case reviews with the Analysis team;
Serving as technical lead to assist the management team in understanding Use Case future needs;
Reduction of False Positive results from Use Case events

You are highly disciplined and motivated, able to work independently, under direction, or as a member of a team.

Required Skills:
*4 years College Degree or equivalent
*4+ years of similar experience at a Security Operations/Monitoring Centre;
*CISSP Certification;
*CCNA Certification
*MCSE or Solaris/HP Unix or Linux Administration (eg RHCE) Certification;
*AESA (ArcSight ESM Security Analyst) Certification;
*ITIL Foundation Certification;
*Good verbal and written communication (English);
*Prior experience of IT security incident handling and analysis using ArcSight SIEM tool; Prior experience of working in process oriented organisation;
*Passion and drive to work in start-up division with potential of significant growth in scope and services;
