Security Consultant

For one of our biggest clients, a globally known and respected company in the financial industry, based in Amsterdam, I'm looking for a penetration tester. You will be part of the cybersecurity department of the company, responsible for providing internal and external penetration tests at the company

Are you the type of penetration tester that likes to identifying, classifying, remediating, and mitigating every vulnerability of the company? Have you got a minimum of 5 years penetration testing experience with significant mobile testing? Are you that person who has a program background with relevant working experience as a software security tester?

THE IDEAL APPLICANT:

- Has a minimum 5 years penetration testing experience, with significant mobile testing.
- Has experience with OWASP testing Guide/Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual
- Is fluent in at least 1 programming language
- Is an expert with common web application penetration testing tools including, but not limited to Burp, Fiddler, OWASP Zap, BeEF, and at least one commercial solution (WebInspect, AppScan, or similar).
- Has experience deploying enterprise security testing solutions.

WHAT OTHER SKILLS WOULD BE BENEFICIAL:

- Familiarity with common network vulnerability/penetration testing tools including, but not limited to, Metasploit, vulnerability scanners, Kali Linux, and Nmap. Experience with debuggers, disassemblers, binary patch diffing (eg BinDiff)
- Security testing experience in a Financial environment could be advantageous but not determinant

THE JOB:

- Providing internal and external network penetration testing (primary responsibility)
- Identify insecure vulnerabilities in network and applications (including black-, grey-, White Box, code reviews and reverse engineering)
- Creating actionable reporting based on findings
- Advising how to make the software and secure again
- Advising how to make the network and software architecture secure again
- Executing social engineering
- Additionally you will support with pre intakes/technical intakes, development of security solutions and services, leveraging a robust technology portfolio, to address complex industry recognized information security trends and challenges faced by our respective clients. Assist with the delivery of pre-sales and post-sales support of the technical security solutions and services.
