Security Compliance Analyst

BACKGROUND TO ENGAGEMENT: SECURITY COMPLIANCE ANALYST

My client, a Major utility provider is looking to engage on a 6 month contract a SECURITY COMPLIANCE ANALYST to support the Smart Metering security manager in the operation and maintenance of the ISO27001 ISMS on the scope of Smart Metering operations. You will be joining a team of 12 people based in East Grinstead for the Initial period then moving over to Crawley. I will also be looking to receive applicants with a more junior profile with a couple of years experience for this role.

SCOPE OF WORK: SECURITY COMPLIANCE ANALYST

1. Engage with internal stakeholders (CIO, Business, Security specialists) on the daily operation of the ISMS

- A. Management of information security risks
- B. Continuous improvement and implementation of corrective actions
- C. General security advice

2. Take part in the change management process to evaluate security impacts and escalate to Smart Metering Security Manager where applicable

3. Organise and prepare ISMS Delivery boards

4. Maintain the ISMS documentation: A. ISMS dashboard B. SOA, ISMS scope C. Risk register D. Policies, standards

5. Prepare and support external certification audits (surveillance and recertification)

6. Prepare and support internal audits (surveillance) Occasionally perform security assurance activities around smart metering projects (security in solution development life cycle

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: SECURITY COMPLIANCE ANALYST

Practical experience of implementation and operation of ISO27001 certified Information Security Management Systems General knowledge of IT security architectures and solutions Professional security certification - ISO27001 lead auditor, CISSP or equivalent Ability to articulate security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Autonomous, proactive team player
