Security Cleared (NATO) Cost Analyst - Brussels

Projektbeschreibung
Urgent requirement for Security Cleared (NATO) Cost Analyst who will be a self-starter and have the following day to duties:

Develops and maintains Function Point (FP) counting for SIPs through the life cycle;

Collects, analyses and maintains FP and other data for SIPs throughout the life cycle;
-
Support and deputize for senior cost professionals;
-
Performs other duties as may be required.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
-
A minimum of 5 years prior experience in Function Point counting, preferably for defence in fields directly applicable to the projects and programmes of the Service Lines and Program Offices
-
A university degree in a relevant field (eg engineering, math, Information Technology) or equivalent education from a recognised military academy or institute, supplemented by relevant postgraduate qualifications or certification;
-
Be a certified Function Point count specialist;
-
Expertise in the use of MS Excel software and be familiar with the use of other computer-based support tools including MS Word;
-
Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Experience with other FP counting methods such as Object Points, User Stories, COSMIC FP etc.;
- Experience in communicating cost issues with other Cost Professionals, Contracting Officers, SL chiefs, Project Managers, HNs and contractors;

The ability to develop and maintain a work schedule with multiple demands and priorities.

May be required to undertake duty travel to operational theatres.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROLE AND PROJECT, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A VALID SECURITY CLEARANCE OR WILLING TO UNDERGO PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT (THIS MAY TAKE SEVERAL WEEKS TO COMPLETE).
