Security Architect

Roc Search is currently recruiting for a 'Security Architect' to work for a client of mine based in Prague.

Primary Task:

Patch Management Technical Lead:

*Refine the defined process according to feedback from stakeholders.
*Define the process to deliver a Security Baseline Qualified Release.
*Collaborate with the IT Security Services (ISS) team to deliver vulnerability scanning capabilities to verify deployment of security patches.
*Work with the following groups to get approval for the process:-
Infrastructure Group - IT Quality
Group Information Governance Manager
Application Managers
Application Owners
Operating System Service Managers

Secondary Task (in support of primary architect).

Security Baselines and High Risk Applications

*Understand the Novartis IT landscape and assess the existing Security Baselines (Windows Servers, Networks, Linux Servers, DB, IIS7, Webserver, etc).
*Understand and assess the Novartis Security Policy, Assess past Audit findings, Risk Assessment results etc.
*Arrange workshops and weekly meeting with the concerned stakeholders (IGM, GIS internal teams, Divisions SPOCs, Group IT Security team, Business IT, Application Portfolio, etc) with respect to implementation, Awareness and compliance towards the baseline.
*Liaison with divisions, Business units to enforce and comply with Security Baseline for the High Risk System/Applications and Classified Systems/Applications on priority.
*To ensure that all life cycle revision of existing infrastructure at Novartis is complying with new Baselines.
*Collaborate with the IT Security Services (ISS) team to deliver vulnerability scanning capabilities to verify adherence of systems to Baseline Standards.
*Scope of the Security baseline areas are mentioned below (But not limited to )
*Storage Security Baseline
*Epo,DLP and other host based protection system baseline
*Network connectivity baseline (SSL,IPSec, TLS etc)
*SAP Security Baseline
*Secure Application Development and testing Security Baseline (Including Guidance for VP/PT, Secure Code review etc)

Location: Prague
Rate: Around 300 Euro
