Security Application Developer - Java/JAP (4525)

For a long-term project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced SECURITY APPLICATION DEVELOPER - JAVA/JAP (4525).

The goal of the Network Security Configuration Management (NSCM) project is to introduce configuration management disciplines for network security, thereby enabling management of all network security configuration item types and providing full audit and regulatory compliance.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4-5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH DEVELOPING WITH JAP (JAVA APPLICATION PLATFORM) WHICH INCLUDES A SOLID UNDERSTANDING OF THE JAP TOOL-CHAIN
- 4-5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN:
- BACKEND AND FRONT END PROGRAMMING IN JAVA, INCLUDING J2EE TECHNOLOGIES (PREFERABLY WEBLOGIC)
- WEB TECHNOLOGIES SUCH AS WEB SERVICES, REST, XML, HTML, OO AND MQ
- Very well-versed with UML, design patterns and Datamodelling
- Good knowledge of Database Technologies (preferably Oracle)
- Network Security Devices (eg Firewalls, proxies, load-balancers, etc.)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Development of a Java-based Front End GUI using the bank's standardised Java Application Platform (JAP)
- Development of Back End business logic in Java including the use of an Oracle database
- Integration of the Java application with other external applications/services utilising web technologies such as REST etc.
