FOR OUR CLIENT IN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SECURITY ANALYST.

THE ROLE

As a Security Analyst you will be working in a team with 7 persons in the centre of Brussels.

You will be working in a start up division. They need you to have passion and drive to work in this team. For this job you have to be flexible. The shifts constantly change every month. This company has the potential to grow significantly in scope and services. In order to be successful in this company you need to have effective verbal and written communication skills. You are highly disciplined and motivated, able to work independently, under direction or as a member of a team.

You possess good logical and analytical skills to help in analysis of security incidents. You have the ability to make information security risk determinations. In order to do so you are familiar with system log information.

SKILLS

- General Desktop OS and Server OS knowledge.
- General knowledge of TCP/IP.
- Internet Routing
- UNIX/LINUX & Windows NT
- Understanding of common network services (web, mail, DNS, authentication).

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with the QRadar
- SIEM Knowledge of network security zones
- Firewall
- IDS Knowledge of log formats for syslog
- http logs
- DB logs
- Able to gather forensics for traceability back to event
- Experience with log management or security information management tools
- Experience with Security Assessment tools (NMAP, Nessus, Metasploit, Netcat)
