SECURITY ANALYST, ISO27001, CESG

Security Analyst required with experience designing secure solutions and methodologies is required to work on a range of project streams. Your main activity will be to develop models and strategies that are incorporated in the secure architecture design.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Familiarity with industry leading security products
- Knowledge of information security principles, practice and controls
- Knowledge of security information and event management solutions
- Experience working in IL0/IL1/IL2 and IL3 environments
- Experience working within a change control and incident management environment
- Detailed Internet, networking, and computer knowledge (software & hardware)
- Understanding of systems administration, intrusion detection and vulnerability analysis
- Experience with security testing tools, development of threat assessments and security testing methodologies
- BPSS level security clearance might be required

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

The ideal candidate will show experience and knowledge in at least two of the following criteria. In addition, eligibility for SC level security clearance is an advantage. 

- Design and implementation of Infrastructure/Network Security
- Infrastructure components (including Firewalls, Switches and Routers
- Architecting secure solutions
- Identity and Access management products (eg Tivoli, Oracle, CA or Government Gateway)
- Good knowledge in recognised standards (eg ISO 27001, ISO27002, ISO22301, PCI-DSS, TOGAF or SABSA)
- Familiar with security good practices guides (CESG, ISF etc.)
- Infrastructure components (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Switches, Routers, Load Balancers etc.)
- Ethical Hacking
