Security Analyst Compliance Job

SECURITY ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Norristown, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Participate in the creation or enhancement of controls, control activities, and related evidence standards to ensure compliance with new or existing versions of the federal energy standards.
- Participate and document IT audits with regional, state, and federal authorities.
- Collect, prepare, and present evidence for continuous compliance monitoring.
- Identify and coordinate the update and approval of existing documentation.
- Evaluate, report, and work with IT owners to mitigate potential compliance violations.
- Strive to become a subject matter expert in interactions with external auditors.
- Recommend enhancement of control activities to more clearly demonstrate compliance.
- Identify opportunities for communication of ITS security and compliance initiatives.
- Develop and deliver IT security & compliance training material.
- Establish and maintain framework for ITS documentation related to compliance.
- Define and maintain compliance requirements for system and software design.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Systems Audit, IT Risk Management or equivalent hands-on work experience.
- Three (3) plus years IT based experience working in an IT Audit role.
- Exceptional service delivery skills and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to create/write descriptions of technical issues, simplify complex topics for presentation to a non-technical audience, and develop supporting documentation with ease and in a timely manner.
- Goal oriented with the ability to move through obstacles to get the job done.
- Experience working in an area of information technology subject to compliance with externally defined requirements (ie CIP, ISO, NIST, PCI, GLBA, HIPAA, SOX).
- Demonstrated experience identifying, developing and implementing effective Information Technology controls to ensure adherence to externally defined requirements.
- Experience with identifying, evaluating and developing plans to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
