Security Analyst

SECURITY ANALYST, INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST

Our client, is looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst for a 6 month contract to be based in Coventry.

As a Senior Information Security Analyst you will be accountable for advising the business on security related risks relating to new projects and some projects that are already in flight..

Key Deliverable:

- Manage external resources to ensure that penetration testing is carried out to a suitable standard on time and within budget
- Manage the internal vulnerability scanning programme to ensure that scans are planned and carried out in a timely manner
- Responsible for ensuring that vulnerabilities identified either in Internal scanning programme or external penetration testing are suitably mitigated or that residual risks are documented and formally accepted
- Monitor the output of security tools that identify security incidents and breaches, escalating as appropriate
- Responsible for the monitoring of internal control systems to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained
- Conduct Information Security Risk Assessments using the Information SecurityRisk Management Process

Required Skills:

- Conduct Information Security Risk Assessments using the Information Security Risk Management Process
- Network infrastructure design, Firewall function, wireless networking, DNS/DHCP
- Identify and Manage technology areas of Information Security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines that need to be refined or developed
- Ideally CISSP or CISM or CISA or CEH or MSc Information Security or equivalent
