Security Analyst

THE PROJECT:
Our client, a large government organisation, requires an experienced ICT Security Analyst to provide expert advice and technical services in relation to the security of server and desktop infrastructure( including; Novell services, LDAP, Windows

- Contributing to the security of server & desktop infrastructure
- Monitoring appropriateness of server & desktop security controls and contributing to plans for security development that support effective program delivery

IN TECHNICAL TERMS THE REQUIREMENTS ARE:

- Experience developing & implementing server & desktop security strategies/policies/processes
- Experience in risk assessment processes
- Experience monitoring the operation of server & desktop security controls
- Extensive knowledge of Novell Server, LDAP services, Direct XML, Windows server & desktop OS's
- Significant knowledge of Unix & Linux OS's
- Extensive knowledge of LAN data communication technologies & protocols
- Knowledge of Intrusion detection technologies, MS Exchange, PIX
