OUR HUGELY POPULAR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A QUALIFIED SDET WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT DRIVING QUALITY ASSURANCE AND DELIVERING AWESOME CONSUMER EXPERIENCES IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAY LAUNCH.

We provide the user experience and client components for core game console Shell features like communication, achievements, friends and gaming history. We build the experiences that you and your friends use to find each other, play together, see what you've been up to and celebrate special moments in your games.

Candidates will verify console user experiences that integrate with online services. Main responsibilities include analysing design, developing test plans for a feature, developing manual and automated test cases, running automation and manual tests to verify console behavior and creating detailed result reports. Job scope includes working with local and remote development teams to reproduce and investigate product failures and developing test tools needed to improve engineering efficiency such as cross-team integration tests, service and platform validations or release test pass reporting improvements.

This job will involve roughly 30% coding and 70% running test cases and bug investigation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4 years of software testing experience
- 2 years testing communication or entertainment-related applications
- 2 years doing C++, JavaScript or C# development
- Experience with Visual Studio development environment
- Experience writing test tools
- TFS experience
- Debugging experience/skills
- Availability for some off hours
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

PREFERRED:

- Experience writing JavaScript, C++ or C# test tools
- Experience testing games experiences
- Experience working on peer-to-peer, Real Time communication applications
- Experience running and investigating UI automation failures for an entertainment product
- Passion for game play and entertainment experiences
- Knowledge of web services and networking fundamentals including HTTP, JSON, Fiddler and calling RESTful APIs
- Excitement to learn new technologies and take on new coding challenges

This contract position is expected to be 5-6 months with possibility of extension to 1 year.
