BACKGROUND

Our client operates within the financial and credit card sector. We have an in-house developed software developed in Java & Oracle environment maintained and enhanced by approximately 12 resources. 

We now need to extend the capacity of development with SEVERAL ADDITIONAL RESOURCES. 

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION 

When working with our in-house developed system we take part in maintenance as well as development. Maintenance can be for one or several instances (business sites) of our system dealing with handling error corrections and proactive maintenance. 

The development methodology is Scrum. The scrum teams are cross-functional and include both developers and testers. IT IS IN ONE OF THE SCRUM TEAMS THAT NEEDS THE ADDITIONAL TEST CAPACITY. 

The consultant needs to have a firm understanding of how to re-establish a test process within the scrum team. The tester shall be able to modernize and challenge the how we usually do process into something better with higher quality with the same effort is the end result. 

Also, the test specialist shall also be experienced in requirement management and be comfortable to understand the business process and customer needs to be able to review & feedback to business and analyze requirements to define the correct test method/cases with jointly defined exit criteria.
