Scrum Master (Mobile)

A Scrum Master & Mentor with Mobile experience is required for a new assignment on a long term project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Participate and support the mobile development project.

This includes amongst other tasks the following:

- Organize and facilitate planning and refinement meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and other Scrum-related meeting
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress
- Maintain process documentation
- Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
- Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & Sprint Backlogs.
- Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practice
- Support the Product Owners and project leads as necessary
- Assist team with making appropriate commitments
- Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
- Empower the teams to self-organize

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
- Certified Scrum Master with at least one year of experience working as a Scrum Master for a Software Development Team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
- Excellent team player and team builder with good skills and knowledge of servant leadership
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
- Ability to understand technical issues at a high level
- Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
- Understanding the basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential
- Must be "self-motivated"
- Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Ideally from a development background
