Scrum Master Job

SENIOR SCRUM MASTER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Francisco, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Coaching the team in self-organization and cross-functionality
- Removing impediments to the team's progress to its sprint commitments
- Facilitating scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Enacting change & continuous improvement to increase the productivity of the team and quality of deliverables
- Coaching the team in organizational environments in which scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood
- Ensure team execution and delivery to committed sprint work
- Protect team from over-commitment
- Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management
- Creates forum for communicating vision, goals, and Product Backlog items to the team
- Teaching the team to create clear and concise Backlog items
- Understanding long-term product planning
- Leading and coaching the organization in its scrum adoption
- Planning scrum implementations within the organization
- Helping associates and stakeholders understand and enact scrum in their lines of business
- Identify, manage, help mitigate project issues and risks
- Working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of scrum in the organization
- Compliance with Company policies for project delivery

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Experience in capabilities delivery with a focus on one or more platform's systems and operations
- Experience with agile software development methods, including scrum and Kanban
- Strong communicationbuilds productive relationships with others
- Communication:

Communicates effectively across diverse audiences within and outside of the Sprint Team (Stakeholders, Executives). Motivates and models open communication to help surface issues for faster resolution
- Problem Solving:

Able to remove obstacles for the team or to direct obstacles to appropriate owner's quick resolution
- Judgment: Provide perspective to the team and keeps team focused on critical deliverables and tasks
- Influence:

Ability to work with and influence wide range of stakeholders across roles and levels (business, compliance, Legal, IT, etc.)
- Deliverables:

Self-organizing team, High performing team, Sprint health and performance, metrics, Sprint schedule

- Experience on an agile delivery team
