CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 MONTHS
SCRUM Master/Agile project manager COACH uses coaching and mentoring skills to inspire the team and support them in doing the right job. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience with hands on Coaching in an Agile Environment.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
In the capacity of the Agile Project Manager Coach the consultant is responsible for taking up lead roles in helping teams in adopting agile by way of training, mentoring and coaching others.
We are NOT looking for Trainers but looking for Senior Project managers who have EXPERIENCE WITH TRAINING AND COACHING OTHER PROJECT MANAGERS.
This role is VERY HANDS ON - The project manager must have hands on experience working and coaching other Project Managers.
As an experienced coach you will be expected to develop and coach other Project Managers across many various teams in the Bank - developing them and coaching them in essential Project Manager skills is essential.
What would be ideal is a Project Manager Coach that has experience coaching other Coaches.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- At least 3-5 years hands on experience coaching other Project Managers.
- At least 2 years of experience in the execution of a Scrum/XP projects preferably in a Scrum Master/Agile Coach role.
- Experience on agile project management tools such as XPlanner, VersionOne or Rally is an added advantage
- Experience working on at least 2 projects
- Preferably experience working in a Financial/Banking environment
ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Agile; RUP and Waterfall methodology experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry out of which at least 3 years in adopting methodologies like Agile, RUP etc .
- Certifications like RUP, ITIL or in Software Engineering tools will be an added advantage.
Some of the challenges you will be facing is training multiple teams at once and the maturity and experience of coaching senior teams/linemanagers is essential.
There will be 2 elements of training provided: Both on the job training involved with the existing Agile Coaches and separate workshops dedicated to building up the key communication and problem solving skills on large and complex scales.
THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT FOR ONE OF THE LEADING BANKS IN SWITZERLAND.
