SCRUM MASTER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Leading the development team in building the application.
-Performing the role of scrum master, leading the daily standups, sprint planning sessions, showcases and retrospectives.
-Collaborating with project management to align on milestones and deliverables, as well as with architects and user experience teams to address ongoing design questions as they arise.
-Managing product backlog and ensuring that the development team is meeting velocity goals and can deliver the scoped backlog.
-Ensuring the development team has the right skillsets and experience to be successful in delivering the software product.
-Identifying any technical or resource gaps and working with the Project Manager to ensure the team is adequately staffed.
-Eliminating technical blockers for the development team by providing guidance themselves or finding the right expertise within the company.
-Managing the project technical administration tasks according to the company standards, such as Jira and the Project Wiki as it pertains to technical aspects.
-Ensuring that the software quality meets QA metrics, security requirements, application store requirements, open source requirements, and other standards as required.
-Ensuring that the standard tools are used in an appropriate manner.
-Managing the transition to Support teams, as appropriate
