JOB:Scrum Master

LOCATION:Amsterdam, Netherlands

CONTRACT:6 months +

I currently have an opportunity for a long-term contract in Amsterdam with one of our best clients. You will ideally have a CSM (Certified Scrum Master) qualification and be experienced with multiple industries assisting with Agile Development.

NECESSARY SKILLS:

Be an evangelist for the Agile culture and take a lead role in ensuring the continued success of the Scrum process.

Coach and work closely with all areas of the business to propagate the Agile way of working.

Facilitate and lead the following meeting and activities:

Daily Stand ups

Sprint Planning

Sprint Reviews

Sprint Retrospectives

Backlog Grooming

Work closely with the Programme Manager and Product Owner to assist with Planning and Sprint allocation.

Participate in the Scrum of Scrums.

Continuous improvement: recommend new and improved processes for the team

Monitor and assess the team, guiding them in the core principles of collaboration

Track velocity and burn-down rate, facilitate Agile estimating of Sprint backlog and total Backlog.

Protect the team from external and internal distractions and interference.

Identify and remove impediments to the team's successful delivery of the sprint goal.

Facilitate discussion within the team and ensure conflict resolutions.

Manage the correct resourcing of the team to ensure the correct mix of skills to deliver the Product Owner expectations.
