Scrum Master

My client is looking for a Scrum Master who will be working within multi-skilled development teams and helping to transition into agile practices, we are looking for a hand-on Scrum Master who will need to be able to use their knowledge of agile processes to build their teams to maximise product delivery

LOCATION: WOKING

START: ASAP

RATE: £400-420PD

LENGTH: 6 MONTHS+

* Situationally Aware: Must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management.

* Enthusiastic: Must be high-energy.

* Continual improvement: Must continually be growing ones craft learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and a team.

* Conflict resolution: Must be able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches

KEY EXPERIENCE:

* Demonstrable experience of working in an Agile environment. Providing coaching/mentoring to team members in Agile (Scrum and Kanban) practices and processes. Knowledge of SAFe and scaling Agile would be an advantage. Working in concurrent or related scrum teams. Experience of delivering agile projects in a PRINCE 2 enterprise. Customer expectation management. Knowledge of Kanban would be an advantage. Workshop facilitation

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Act as Scrum master for 1-2 scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work

* Facilitate Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.

* Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed.

* Ensure cross-team coordination.

* Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal.

* Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing.

* Work with other scrum masters in the team to ensure that our ways of working are consistent across the teams.

* Protect the team from interruptions and distractions.
