Proteus Europe, acting as an IT recruitment organisation, are currently seeking an Agile Scrum master for a large client based in the centre of Brussels, working on a long term contract opportunity.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a large banking client. Experience in this sector is highly beneficial to your application. However, if you are someone looking to enter the success that the banking sector has to offer then this may also be a great position for you.
You will be responsible for the following:
Conduct AGILE ceremonies and facilitate appropriate outcome:
Backlog Refinement Meeting
" This gives opportunity to Product owner to revise priority for items before commitments are made
" Facilitate team to estimate effort, clarify requirements, decompose large Product Backlog Item (PBI) into smaller user stories
" Facilitate team to come-up with high-level estimates for the next Sprint Planning Meeting
Sprint Planning Meeting
" Facilitate team to commit to Sprint backlog
" Facilitate team to come-up with initial list of tasks to complete committed PBIs
Daily Scrum Meeting
" Monitor and Track the daily activities. Report all agile relevant reports (Burn down chart, sprint backlog and daily status), task board, blockers list to higher level management and are visible to the team
" Unblocks/remove blockers so that the team can achieve the sprint goals
" Resolve the conflicts between scrum teams and guide them to reach viable solutions
" Gather support from everyone to make sure that the change is accepted
Sprint Review Meeting
" Facilitate team to demonstrate working product increment and get sign-off
Sprint Retrospective Meetings
" Make sure team looks back on how the team performed to capture lessons learnt and improve in subsequent sprints
Train and coach the team on Agile practices.
