SCOPE/RELEASE MANAGER
Our client, a global leader in the retail sector is currently executing a large agile development project. In order to maintain a clear view on the scope of the functionality delivered by the different teams we are looking for a SCOPE/RELEASE MANAGER.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the overall scope of the various modules of the new system and the underlying business processes
- Coordinate and supervise the planning of the scope in close collaboration with the Scrum Masters
- Actively manage the dependencies between the various modules of the system
- Liaise with the programme portfolio manager and with the other project managers
- Liaise with the tech team lead and with the system's architect to understand technical/development issues
Profile:
- Strong understanding of agile project methodology
- Strong leadership skills in a diverse, intercultural environment
- Swift understanding and problem solving skills
- Fluency, written and spoken in the English language
- Ability to push for stakeholders' decisions
- Flexibility in day-to-day work and able to deliver in stressful conditions
- Proven track record in scope management required
- BA/MsC in Business Management, Economics or IT required
