Scope & Change Manager

A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Scope and Change Manager to be responsible for Scope Management, Interface Co-ordination and integrated Change Control Management within the project. The role will take place onshore working on the clients offshore wind farm project. They are looking for an individual who can start the role as close to the 1st December 2014 as possible for an initial 12 months freelance contract with the possibility of further extension.

Work pattern: 5 full days per week.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

Prepare and maintain Change Management Plan and Scope Management Plan
Prepare and maintain the requirements traceability Matrix and the change register
Facilitate team workshops to collect the requirements, define scope, clarify interfaces and update the requirement traceability Matrix
Draft scope decomposition into WBS elements
Drive the drafting of Scope of Works documentation by the respective scope owners and secure agreement between scope owners of the interfaces between them
Collect work performance information and ensure that completed deliverables are base-lined and made subject to integrated change control
Collect change requests and present them for approval in accordance with project governance
Prepare scope and Integrated Change Control reports for presentation at project progress meetings and/or CCB meetings
Prepare agenda and circulate minutes for meetings

Qualifications:

BSc/MSc or other relevant degree.
Competence equivalent to PMI-PMP
3 years or relevant work experience within wind and/or construction
5 years experience from similar position in a project Matrix organisation
