SCOM Engineer

My client is one of the fastest growing financial businesses in Switzerland and is looking for a senior contract SCOM Engineer for its office in Basel. My client is requesting a highly skilled individual who specializes in System Center suite (SCOM and SCCM) and can meet target deadlines.

Role:

- Expert in IT best practices and ITIL
- Enthusiast, service-oriented, with strong team-working and creativity skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Good overall knowledge of the dependencies and how they interact (eg: the technologies involved in core server, networking, database and application technologies)

Skills:

- Expert in Windows server technologies including Active Directory, DNS, IIS and File System Security.
- Experience with 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting of technical issues
- In-depth experience with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Experience managing Group Policies for large complex environments.

Location: Basel

Start date: immediately (+1 year contract)
