SCOM Administrator

Our client is looking to expand their SCOM Administration team as part of new operations in Spain. The successful SCOM Administrator(s) will be required to participate in the administration and operation of our clients automation and monitoring infrastructure. We are seeking candidates that are well acquainted with SCOM or System Centre Operations Manager.

Your Responsibilities:
* Administering the SCOM infrastructure, ensuring that it is stable, up to date, well designed, properly tuned and properly maintained
* Extending the current infrastructure and/or implementing a new infrastructure (SCOM 2012)
* Supporting SCOM users and improving/configuring the existing Management Packs
* Creating relevant statistics for both SCOM team and SCOM user services
* Developing ad-hoc management packs when required

Experience & Skills Required:
* Knowledge of SCOM (installation, maintenance and operations).
* Good knowledge of AD, DC, Windows systems, GPO and SQL Servers.
* Good knowledge of Management Pack development
* Good knowledge of Scripting in XML and PowerShell.
* Proficient in English (verbal and written), French and/or Spanish could be helpful.
* University degree in computer or information science, mathematics or related field.
* Knowledge of Linux and cross-platform development would be advantageous
* Shell, Perl Scripting knowledge would be an added bonus
