SCM SYSTEM EXPERT - SVN, GIT, UNIX, LINUX
Location: Eindhoven (The Netherlands)

Duration: 6 month+
Hours a week: 40

Job Mission
Maintain and modify the implementation of the software development environment, in co-operation with the internal customer and SCM system architect.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Take ownership of (parts of) the software development environment as provided to the internal customer. The software development environment is used by approximately 2000 developers.
- Participate as technical expert in running projects within the IT CCP ST Software SEI group.
- Define improvement proposals that focus on system performance and process efficiency for end-users.
- Give support in solving difficult 3rd line incidents.
- Strong partner in discussions with SCM system architect and stakeholders within the internal customer departments.
- Keep abreast with relevant literature, means and methods.

EXPERIENCE

- At least Bachelor level or equivalent.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience and proven experience in large technical complicated development environments
- Thorough understanding and practical experience with:
- Development environments
- Multiple Configuration and build management implementations.
- Unix/Linux Hardware infrastructure.
- Knowledge of version control tooling like SVN, GIT
