Scientist with Knowledge in Cell Culture

Associate Scientist in Cell Culture Process Development wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- University degree in Life Sciences or equivalent education with at least 1-3 years of professional experience within a pharmaceutical environment
- Profound experience in upstream process development, preferably with mammalian cell cultures and/or viral vectors
- Ability to work effectively in a team, willingness to adopt challenging tasks and grow in related areas of expertise
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Facilitating USP lab activities and conducting fermentation experiments
- Delivering adequate documentation of experimental data results as well as providing support to the data evaluation
- Being responsible for implementation of new scientific technologies/equipment and lab process improvements
- Facilitating efficient performance of planned analyses in compliance with quality, quantity and timelines in assigned projects
- Taking care of communicating any critical issues to the appropriate management level and/or relevant project team associates
- Scheduling and performing routine maintenance of instruments/equipment
